Ruben Joseph Vigil

On January 21, 2025, Ruben Vigil, of Broomfield, CO left this world at the age of 51. While his time with us feels far too short, Ruben filled every moment with warmth, kindness, and an unwavering love for the people around him.

Ruben was the kind of guy who never met a stranger—just friends he hadn’t talked to yet. Straight out of high school, he built a career as an electrician, pouring his energy into his work and taking pride in a job well done. But what truly set him apart was the way he showed up for people. He was always ready to lend a hand, share a laugh, and brighten someone’s day with his easygoing spirit.

More than anything, Ruben loved his family. He is survived by his parents, Geri and Ruben, his son, Isaac, his niece, DeVeena, his nephew, Draven, and his great-nephew, Ozzy. He also leaves behind a big, loving extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins who will forever cherish his memory. He now joins his brother, Robert, his nephew, Damien, and his grandparents, Arlene and Joe, who were waiting to welcome him home.

Per his wishes, Ruben will be cremated, and there will be no formal service. Instead, we encourage those who knew him to honor his life in the way he lived it—by offering a helping hand, sharing a smile, and holding loved ones a little closer.
