Rose S. Abney, age 77, passed peacefully Feb. 13, 2019 surrounded by people who loved her after a long battle with breast cancer.
Rose was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Abney and parents, David and Iris Shearer.
Rose is survived by her four children; Stacey Benson; Susie Godwin, Troy Abney, Greg Abney, and 7 grandchildren.
Rose had an amazing career as a flight attendant for Continental Airlines and flew for 45 years. She loved her career and the people she was honored to call her friends. Her loving attitude, love for life and love for her family will be remembered for years to come. Simply put, Rose was timeless.
