Robert is survived by his wife Linda Sparks-Velten, three children, eight grandchildren and his dog, Max.
A committal service with Military Honors will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018, at 11:15 AM at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado.
Donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Denver Hospice.
