Mom passed singing “Happy days are here again” leading the chorus of her friends who proceeded her in death.
Born Marie Geraldine Kristofco May 25, 1920 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. She married William John Hanzel, also of Johnstown, and they spent 65 years together. Dad passed in October 2005. They moved to California in 1941 where dad found work in the aircraft industry. Mom was moved to Colorado nine years after dads passing because of declining health.
They are survived by two sons, William Lee (Aurora, CO) and Vale John (Hidden Valley Lake, CA), four grand children and four great grandchildren. Preceded in death by great grand-son. She will join dad in San Fernando Mission Cemetery, Mission Hills California.
