Peggy Anne Loader, a beloved teacher, mentor, mother, grandmother and cherished-wife passed away on February 6, 2025. She was born on November 17, 1946, in Boulder City, NV, to Loughridge (Larry) and Mary Wilma (Bibbey) Laune.
Peggy grew up with her sister E. Michaela Laune and shared a close bond with her family. On March 23, 1970, she married the love-of-her-life, Neil Kent Loader. Together, they built a beautiful family and raised two wonderful children, Brad Thomas Loader and Jamie Kay Avery. Peggy was also a proud grandmother to Wesley Emerson Loader and Emma Kay Avery, who brought immense joy to her life.
As a dedicated teacher, Peggy influenced many young people's lives and was a strong advocate for those who needed a little extra help in their education. She had a particular passion for teaching children to read, believing that literacy was the key to unlocking a child's potential. Her love for reading and her dedication to her students left a lasting impact on her community.
Peggy's kindness, wisdom, and love extended beyond her family and students. She had many friends who cherished her dearly and will remember her for her warm heart and generous spirit. She was a beacon of light and inspiration to all who knew her.
Peggy's profound love for nature was a defining aspect of her life. She found immense joy in capturing the beauty of the natural world through the lens of her camera, and her stunning photographs were a testament to her deep appreciation for nature's splendor. Peggy's passion for travel was immense. She dreamed of exploring the world and was fortunate to experience the joy of visiting six continents.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Loughridge (Larry) and Mary Wilma (Bibbey) Laune.
She is survived by her loving husband, Neil; her sister, Michaela; her son, Brad, and his wife, Libby (Thelen); her daughter, Jamie; and her cherished grandchildren, Wesley and Emma.
Peggy’s legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
