Paula Mae Dorst, age 84, peacefully passed from this life to be with the Lord on February 9,2025 in Colorado Springs, CO. Paula was born on April 24, 1940, in Orrick, MO. Her elementary education was in Orrick, MO. Followed by secondary education at Menlo Atherton High School in Menlo Park, CA. She retired from American Hardware Mutual Insurance as an Underwriter. She furthered her education at DeAnza College, Cupertino, CA., as a Paralegal.
She will be remembered most for her loving and giving nature. A big part of her life revolved around her faith and volunteering at her church, First United Methodist of Palo Alto, CA.
She is survived by her two sisters, Caroline Dorst Townsend (Shoreline, WA) and Donna Dorst Abenroth (Calhan, CO) as well as three nephews and a niece and four great nephews and three great nieces.
She was predeceased by her parents; “J.” ”E.” Dorst and Florence Mae (Dorst) Dorst McCullough.
Private internment at Crown Cemetery, Excelsior Springs, MO.
