Patricia Ann Wilson of Denver Colorado passed away Wednesday March 18, 2025, at the age of 78 years and 10 months. She was born on May 22, 1946, in New Ulm, Minnesota. Patricia grew up in Brainerd, Minnesota where her family had moved when she was very young.
Pat graduated from Washington High School in Brainerd in 1964. She began working in the lab at St Joseph Hospital in Brainerd where she developed an interest in a career as a Histologist. While vacationing in Colorado she fell in love with the area and decided to stay in Denver. There she found permanent work as a Histologist until her retirement.
Pat loved the mountains of Colorado. She often went camping and hiking in the mountains with friends. She also tried white water rafting…but once was enough!
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin C Wilson and Elaine C (Miklas) Wilson and her younger brother, Richard A Wilson.
She is survived by her sister, Gail H Wilson (Bahn), brother-in-law, Richard A Bahn, five nephews, one niece, seven grandnieces and ten grandnephews.
The family would like to thank Amanda from Swedish Hospital who stayed with Pat as she transitioned from mortality. Thank you for being with her until the end. We would also like to thank the team of doctors and nurses in the ICU. Thank you also to RaeAnn Dombowski from Neptune Cremation Services for being so helpful and kind.
Our family would also like to thank Pat’s best friend of over 50 years, Judy Lamond. In the end, Judy was her caregiver, confidant and sounding board. We appreciate all her love and support.
