Born on October 11, 1942, in Denver, Colorado. She was the daughter of Lavergne (Peggy) Pruitt and Chetney Lubben. She also had a very special relationship with her stepfather, Emmitt Pardee. Patti was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend, and source of unwavering love and strength to all who knew her. She was known for her warm and contagious smile, hospitality, and ability to make everyone feel welcome. She created lasting memories and meaningful connections, especially while at rehab the past two years with her "can do, want to" positive attitude. She inspired others through her compassion, resilience, and grace.
She found joy in playing bridge, playing canasta, singing in her church choir, organizing events, and spending time with ‘the ranchers' from Rainbow Acres. However, her biggest passion was playing tennis where she loved to compete but loved the camaraderie and friendships along the way even more. She spent time with the lord every day and emailed a devotional or spiritual message of encouragement most mornings. In her most recent years with limited mobility, weekly sing-a-longs on her patio in Arizona was a time with friends that she truly treasured!
Patti spent most of her married life as a stay-at-home wife/mother ensuring her children had every opportunity to participate in so many activities. She served on numerous school committees, was often the team-mom, and regularly prepared delicious family dinners. She could always be found in the bleachers encouraging and cheering for her children and grandchildren. She worked for Continental Airlines for ten years and enjoyed that career very much.
Her greatest pride and happiness came from her family, whom she loved wholeheartedly. She loved hosting family gatherings and attending every milestone event. She is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Michael R. Beauchamp and children, Kerri (Steve) Knapp of Galesburg Michigan and their children; Christopher (Jill) Dillon, Natalie Weaver, Courtney (Kyle) Klaassen, & Read Knapp; Marty (Lisa) Beauchamp of Louisville Colorado and their children Ben (Taylor) Beauchamp and Gillian Beauchamp; Rod (Jesslyn) Beauchamp of Arvada Colorado and their daughters Zoe and Paige Beauchamp. Great grandchildren,
Briggs & Owen Northrup, Ellerie Sue Klaassen, Ada Grace & Jack Michael Dillon and another great grandbaby due in September. She is also survived by her cousin PeggyAnn Laugherty, and her children as well as her niece, Heidi (Seib) Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents and stepfather.
Though our hearts are heavy with loss, we celebrate the remarkable life she lived and the countless ways she touched those around her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and devotion will continue to live in the hearts of her family and friends.
A visitation will be held on July 21, 2026, at 10:00am at Storyline Church, 14605 W 64th Ave, Arvada CO, followed by a memorial service at 11:00am with a light lunch and a time of fellowship following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Storyline Church earmarked for Youth Mission Trips, or National Jewish Hospital (www.nationaljewish.org/giving).
