Marilyn was born on November 18, 1949, in Darby, PA. She was pre-deceased by her parents Clarence and Frances Allen of Philadelphia, PA, and her brother Robert Allen of Toms River, NJ. Surviving are her sisters Eileen Schaefer of Elkton, MD, Margie Smith of Port Lavaca, TX, and Bettyanne Weinlein (Anton) of Secane, PA. Daughters Tammy Feby of Claymont, DE, Michelle Dean (Terry) of Columbia, SC, and Jamie Hernandez Carpio (Israel) of Brighton, CO. And son Robert Walker (Asako) of Thornton, CO. Along with 12 Grandchildren, 12 Great-Grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Marilyn was a recipient of a double-lung transplant in April of 2003, at University of Colorado Hospital. Just 4 days shy of 22 years, she lived and displayed strength, courage, gratitude, and humor every day.
Marilyn loved animals; domestic, wildlife, and stray and did all she could for them. From feeding and caring for cats and birds in Texas; to the birds, wild bunnies, and her grand puppies in Colorado. Arrangements have been made through Neptune Society of Colorado, and there will be a Celebration of Life in Brighton, CO on April 26th, 2025, at 1:00pm.
