Louise Anne Tipton (born April 21st, 1958) -- A truly faithful, elegant and inspirational woman has left us and embarked on a journey to her eternal home heaven on Saturday, May 12, 2018 where she will be received in to the loving arms of our lord and savior -- Jesus Christ.
Louise Tipton: A story of a courageous and determined life. From the day of birth she already had to face and conquer a major challenge. Louise was a baby born without hip sockets and she had to be placed in an uncomfortable cast for a year, but that wouldn't keep her down. She quickly managed to figure out how to flip over and maneuver around. Once out of the cast she began walking right away. This ability to successively overcome a challenge became indicative of future accomplishments.
Louise developed in to a very thoughtful, loving, admirable and endearing woman with many desirable characteristics. She was not a person that would fit a standard profile, the mold was broke when she was created. She never claimed to be wonder woman, she didn't have to. Louise was humble and her accomplishments spoke for themselves. While being a mother of two children and a full time employee, Louise attended college at night at Metropolitan State College in Denver, CO over a 10 year period of time where her persistence and diligence was awarded with a bachelor's degree in accounting.
Louise had a fulfilling career in Denver, CO. She climbed the ladder all the way from a customer service representative to an executive secretary for a chairman of the board at Rocky Mountain News. Followed by the position of office manager at Empire Metal Spray and then as an accountant for Aurora Public Schools. Of all the aspects involved in a career, she was most grateful for and valued the relationships she developed the most.
Life certainly has its challenging as well as wearisome moments, but Louise chose to keep her head held high with a positive outlook and remained hopeful no matter what the circumstances were. Her Christianity and her love of Jesus Christ was of great importance to her and she remained faithful to the end. Louise thoroughly enjoyed teaching Sunday School for children at Galilee Baptist Church. She felt that was very rewarding because of her love of children. Jesus would certainly concur that Louise met the criteria in 2nd Timothy 4:7 and say to her “you have fought the good fight, you have finished the race and you kept the faith”
Louise will be lovingly remembered by all and she is survived by her husband and best buddy of 19 years - Jim Tipton, her mother Clara Smith, brother Brian Smith, son Anthony (Jennifer) Vittoria, daughter Angela (Ray) DeBolt and 4 grandchildren, Kaley, Kyle, Isabella and Madisen.
Louise’s body might have succumbed to cancer, but her heart, mind and soul were left unscathed. Nothing on this earth could have stopped the love that poured out of Louise’s warm kind heart. Nothing could diminish the determination of her strong willed mind to make a positive impact on others no matter what the circumstances were. Louise was able to part with the widely held Christian sentiment as it is sung “It is well, it is well with my soul”.
A celebration of Louise’s life will take place on Saturday, June 2nd, 2018 -- 11:00 a.m. -- Galilee Baptist Church -- 1091 S. Parker Rd, Denver CO 80231. Reception to follow service at the church. Join us as we reflect back on her life on earth and send her on her way to heaven.
In lieu of flowers it would be greatly appreciated if you would consider donating to Galilee Baptist Church Mentor Program. Bless You!
