Louise F Gallegos age 90 died peacefully on April 10th, 2018 in her home. Survived and will be dearly missed by sons John (Rose) Gallegos, Richard (Judy) Gallegos. Grandchildren Arlene, Melissa (Lyle), Rick (Valerie), Andrea (Marcus), Nina. Great grandchildren, Shantal (Isaac), Joseph Jr, Angelique, Alicia, Kyle, Isaac, Marissa, Alex, and Brooklyn. Great-Great Grandchild Kyrin as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
Louise was born in Mogote, Colorado. She married Jose P Gallegos on July 4th, 1952 in Taos, New Mexico. Relocated to Denver, Co they had two sons John and Richard Gallegos. Louise was a very outspoken woman who loved a cup of hot coffee, playing games like marbles and Canasta with family and friends. She loved to bowl, fish and cook. Louise liked to watch John Wayne and Clint Eastwood movies and to read her religious books. Louise also sang gospel music while we made dinner.
Louise is survived by her sons John and Richard Gallegos; her grandchildren: Arlene Gallegos, Melissa Gallegos (Lyle), Rick Gallegos (Valerie), Andrea Martinez (Marcus), Nina Gallegos; her great grandchildren: Shantal Wright (Isaac), Joseph Chavez Jr., Angelique Gallegos, Alicia Martinez, Kyle DeVall, Isaac Gallegos, Marissa Gallegos, Alex Gallegos, Brooklyn Gallegos; her great-great grandchild Kyrin Martinez; sister Perfida Reyes as well as numerous nephews and nieces.
Louise has gone to join those who passed before her; her parents Juan DeDios Gomez and Antonia Marquez Gomez, her husband Jose P. Gallegos, her sisters: Esther Gomez , Anna Martinez, Della Maestas and her brother Daniel Gomez.
A Memorial Service will be held at Fort Logan National Cemetery on Tuesday April 17th, 2018 at 12:15 PM.
