Julie Ann Clavell Lechtanski passed away in Ft. Collins, Colorado on September 19, 2026. She was 80 years old. Julie attended Tustin High School in Tustin, California. Julie worked for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) as a payroll technician in Kansas City, Missouri and entered a program in the late ‘70’s training women to be electronic technicians. Julie retired from the FAA in 2006 after a 30-year career and moved to Ft. Collins, Colorado to be closer to her son Kristopher.
Julie was an avid quilter, reader of cozy murder mysteries and volunteered for the Poudre River Friends of the Library and held many seats on the board. Julie is survived by her son Kristopher Hulse (Christie Haus) of Thornton, Colorado. She is also survived by 5 siblings. She was preceded in death by her son Kenneth Hulse.
