We are heartbroken to announce the peaceful passing of Joye Ingram, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Born on April 6, 1941, in Pueblo, Colorado, Joye left this world on September 26, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She lived a full and rich life, grounded in love and family values, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and compassion.
Joye was the cherished daughter of Betsy and Clifford Olson, who preceded her in death along with her children, Junior Kohl, Teresa Ingram, and Sandy Ingram. She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Charles "Chuck" Ingram Sr., whom she married on January 19, 1974. Together, they built a loving family and shared a passion for auto racing, which brought them many joyous moments throughout their marriage.
Joye was a wonderful mother to Chuck Ingram Jr., Mike Ingram, Jeff Ingram, Gale Ingram, and Ronya Ingram. Her nurturing spirit extended to her 16 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Joye's family was the center of her world, and her love for them was evident in every facet of her life.
Professionally, Joye worked as a dedicated meat cutter at a small grocery store, and after her retirement, she continued to share her warmth with the community by serving as a lunch lady for Adams County School District 14. Her colleagues and students fondly remember her as a kind and caring presence.
Joye had a zest for life and found joy in the simplest of pleasures. She enjoyed playing bingo and was a passionate gardener, nurturing both plants and people with her gentle touch. Those who knew her will always remember her as a beautiful woman who radiated warmth and cherished her family above all else.
The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to Elizabeth, whose exceptional care and support have been a beacon of comfort during this difficult time.
A private Celebration Of Life will be held on October 18, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Although the ceremony is reserved for close family, those who wish to honor Joye’s memory may do so by celebrating her life in their own special way.
Joye Ingram's light will continue to shine in the hearts of all who knew her. Her memory will be cherished and her presence deeply missed. Rest in peace, dear Joye.
