John Henry Smith

John Henry Smith was born on December 28, 1944, in Denver, Colorado, and passed away on October 16, 2026. He was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, husband, and friend whose love and determination will be remembered by all who knew him.

John was married to Mary Smith in 1970, and they shared a life together until her passing in 2017. He was a hardworking man and a successful business owner who built his business from the ground up. He loved his children deeply and did everything he could for them. Through many health challenges, John showed the strength of a warrior and never gave up.

In his younger years, John loved motorcycle racing. He also enjoyed playing golf and bowling, and was a devoted fan of motorsports, golf, and weekend football.

John is survived by his daughter, Suzanne Walton; his stepson, Mark Conley; and his brothers, Donald, Steve, and Allen Smith, and sisters, Lynette Benton and Ladonna Degree. He also leaves behind many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including Collin, Brandon, and Andrew Walton; Kayla and Braden Conley; Beau, Malachi, Luke, and Zachria Walton; Trenton Conley; Madison and Bella Peterson; and Liberty and Amora Williams.

John will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered as Dad, Papa, and friend. We love you.
