James Eldon Rowan

Jim was a resident of Broomfield, CO. Jim is survived by his wife Loretta Rowan whom he shared 40 years of love and 35 years of marriage.

Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Eldon and Susan Cleora and brothers, Victor and David Rowan.

Jim had several careers in his lifetime ranging from retail sales to certified addiction counselor. Jim loved being a counselor and helped many people conquer their addictions. Jim had a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Central Missouri State University and a Master of Arts Degree, Psychology, from Regis University, Denver, Colorado.

Jim was an outdoors guy and loved all things nature. He spent many hours working on projects around the yard and caring for the plants and trees in his yard.

In addition to his wife, Loretta, he is also survived by his son Jeremy and his wife Shelly; his granddaughter Marley and his grandson Max; and one niece.

In honor of his wishes, no services are being held at this time. In lieu of flowers, his family encourages you to donate to your favorite charity or plant a tree in Jim’s name in your favorite place. After all Jim was a true Missouri guy and loved trees.
