She was born on September 2, 1934, in Brooklyn, New York, where she lived with her parents, Jack and Theresa Sosa, on Shore Road. After marrying Anthony Chibbaro, she moved to Columbus, Ohio, and settled in Fort Lee, New Jersey, for over 30 years. She moved to Manchester, New Jersey, in 2001, then Las Cruces, New Mexico, and finally, for the past five years, to Fort Collins, Colorado.
Jackee graduated from Hunter College and earned her Master’s Degree to teach music at the high school level. She was a parishioner and actively involved in the chorus at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.
She is survived by her three children, Lisa and Tom Evans, Raymond and Karen Chibbaro, Jeanine and Anthony Consoli, and her grandchildren, Dan Chibbaro, Chris Chibbaro, Katherine Consoli, and Emma Consoli.
Jackee loved her friends, neighbors, and the caring staff at MacKenzie Place, where she resided for the last five years.
The family would like to thank her dear friend Sandy Waterman and the caring CNAs at Amada Senior Care for the care and compassion they showed Jackee.
Jackee was an avid traveler who constantly desired to see more of this beautiful world. She never wanted to be in one final resting place, so she opted to be cremated, and her ashes spread outdoors in the breathtaking Rocky Mountain National Park.
She was a talented, brave, and vibrant person who will be deeply missed. Rest in peace, Jacqueline.
