Jack Lee Simpson

Jack was born in 1936 in Plevna, Missouri to Harry and Eveleyn Simpson. He received his Masters Degree in Education from North East Missouri State University. He was an educator at Denver Public Schools for 30 years.

He married Yonlene Simpson in 1963. They raised 3 sons, Harry, Lin and Hal.

Jack loved hunting, fishing, and family. Storytelling was second nature to Jack. He loved fixing his equipment with bailing wire and duct tape.

Jack was preceded in death by his father, Harry, mother, Evelyn, Sisters Anna Lou and Mary Jane. He is survived by his wife Yon, his three children, Harry, Lin, and Hal, and his five grandchildren, Derek, Kira, Forsyth, Victory, and Elisabeth.

A memorial will be held on Wednesday, Oct 9th, 2019 at St Philip and St James Episcopal Church, 2797 S Lowell St at 10 am,

Lunch will follow at the church.
