

It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, Ida “Angie” Martinez who left this world on December 13, 2023 peacefully in her sleep.
She was a pillar of strength, a source of unconditional love, and a guiding light in our lives. Her departure has left an irreplaceable void in our hearts, but her memory will forever be cherished.
Born on October 12,1937 in Leadville,Colorado. Angie was as a remarkable woman who touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She was a devoted wife, a nurturing mother, a doting grandmother, and great grandmother.
Angie possessed a gentle spirit and a warm smile that could light up any room.
She enjoyed playing bingo, cooking, and spending quality time with her loved ones. She had a zest for life and an infectious laughter that could brighten even the darkest of days. Her presence brought joy and happiness to all who were fortunate enough to be in her company.
Angie leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and resilience. She was predeceased by her husband Juan Leo Martinez and her son John Leo Martinez. She will be deeply missed by her son Dan and his husband Greg, her daughter Tanya, her step daughter Nora, and her daughter-in law Sherri as well as her six grandchildren, Jonathon, Rebecca, Krista, Danielle,Brandon and Sarah. Her five great grandchildren Öna, Elsie, Dante,Rihanna, and Kaylin. Her wide circle of family and friends. Though she may no longer be physically present, her spirit will forever live on in our hearts.
As we bid farewell to our beloved mother, we find solace in knowing that she is now at peace, reunited with loved ones who have gone before her. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may her memory be a blessing to all who knew her.
