George Walter Bassett

Formally of South Fork, Pennsylvania, George was born on April 1st, 1937 to William and Martha Bassett.

George proudly served in the United States Air Force for 30 years and in the Civil Service for 10 years as a Computer Programmer and in Management. He loved to go fishing, to go to Cripple Creek to play the slots and most of all he loved his family. George was loved by all who met him.

Survived by his: wife of 60 years, Doris Bassett; daughter Tammy L. Pfaff, son Jeff A Bassett; granddaughters Christina M Pfaff, Stephanie N Pfaff; great-granddaughter Skylar L Pfaff as well as two brothers and four sisters.

He was preceded by his parents and 6 brothers.
