Erma Lee Blecha

Erma was born September 4, 1944 to Donald E. Roe and Betty I. Roe (Triplett) in Fort Morgan, CO. Erma lived in several states throughout her childhood. She made her home in Fort Morgan during high school, where she met Paul Blecha as a sophomore. Paul and Erma were married on June 17, 1962. Erma was a stay at home mother, raising their children Jeffery Lee and Jennifer Sue. She was very supportive of Jeff and Jenny’s activities being very involved in the PTA, bowling, Boy Scouts, and with the Clarice Tatton School of Dance. She also worked part-time in the school lunch program at Fort Morgan Junior and Senior High Schools. In 1980, Erma took a bookkeeping position at Morgan Industrial Bank. In June 1984, Paul and Erma moved to Littleton, CO where she went to work for Central Bank. After her retirement, Erma enjoyed her grandchildren, family, and golfing with friends.

Erma is survived, and will be missed by her husband Paul E. Blecha, son Jeffery Lee Blecha (Deborah), daughter Jennifer Sue Thompson (William), Grandchildren Tyler Thompson (Suzanna), Cassandra Blecha, Ryan Thompson, Daniel Blecha, Great-Granddaughter Lily Thompson.

Erma was preceded in death by her parents Donald E. Roe, Betty I. Bretey, her brother Donald E. Roe Jr, Stepfathers Norbert C. O’Hara and Wesley Bretey, and great granddaughter Clara Jean Thompson.
