Ella Maurer

Ella was born in Victoria, Texas on May 27, 1948. She was married for 44 years to Edward Eugene "Gene" Maurer, who predeceased her. Ella had a number of different hobbies. These were theatre, dancing, working out, reading, eating out at different places, going to the movies, and shopping. She was most happy spending time with her family. Ella particularly deeply cared about her children's happiness and faith. She was greatly loved by all who knew her and will truly be missed.

Ella is survived by her children, Debbie Maurer Gonzalez and James A. Maurer-both from Colorado; grandchildren Christian Gonzalez of Virginia, Cela Gonzalez of California, and Lucious Maurer of Colorado; stepfather Steve Canchola of Colorado; and brothers Andrew Canchola of Colorado and Adam Canchola of Texas.

Along with her husband, Ella was also predeceased by her mother, Isabel Molina Canchola and her brother, Steve Canchola, Jr.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Portola at the Southglenn Apartments, 6851 S Gaylord St, Centennial, CO 80122.
