Eileen M Florida

Eileen May (Sotosek) Florida, age 80, of Arvada, CO passed away on Thursday, December 20th, 2018 at Swedish Medical Center. Eileen was born on May 4th, 1938. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Thomas Florida; her daughter, Jina Marie Florida and her parents, Charles and Mary Sotosek. Eileen is survived by her three children; Jeff Florida and his wife, Renee Florida of Parker, CO, Jami Florida of Denver, CO and Jody (Florida) Jackson of Erie, CO; her 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; her sister, Marlene (Sotosek) Chapla of Northglenn, CO; her sister-in-law, Norma (Florida) Porreco and her husband, Dan Porreco of Arvada, CO and other loving family and friends.

Eileen was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and sister. She had an abundance of love for her family and friends. Throughout her lifetime her passion evolved around caring for her family and her enormous love for her husband. She loved music and dancing. She was strong in her faith and will be well remembered for her kind heart, friendly spirit and generosity to all. Eileen will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

Eileen's funeral service will be held on Friday, January 18th, 2019 at 11:00 am at Spirit of Christ Catholic Church in the Chapel, 7400 W. 80th Ave., Arvada, CO, 80003. Following immediately after will be a celebration of life in the lower level.
