Egbert Kamstra

Egbert was born in Groningen, the Netherlands. Egbert was a renowned Doctor of Psychiatry who traveled the country helping people through his work. Egbert married his bride Hendrika, in Groningen, where they had their first child. They then lived in Saskatchewan, Canada, where they had 3 children. Next off to Monroe, Wisconsin and had the last 2 children. A Career move, and then lived in Stevens Point, Wisconsin from 1977 to 1998. After retiring, moving to Colorado Springs, where 3 of the children now live.

He is survived by three sons; Peter (Teresa), Paul (Mary), Chris (Pam), and three daughters; Lydia, Jocelyn (Liam), Jennifer (Tom); 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank Deb and Carrie Miller for their years of service and compassion to both Egbert and his wife Hendrika. We are grateful for the time Deb and Carrie spent forging a relationship with Egbert and Hendrika that will forever keep them in our lives and hearts.

Egbert spent many years in happiness, building a family and seeing the world with the love of his life. He was a lover of music, and his time in his canoe on the river. His passion, charisma, and devotion inspired everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Egbert. He will be deeply missed.
