David George McHaffey, 86, of Ft. Collins, Colorado, passed away on February 19, 2019.
Formerly of Pueblo, David had a PhD in Entymology and worked for the USDA/ARS (Agricultural Research Service) before retirement. He was an Assistant Area Director for Agricultural Research in India and Pakistan for 2-1/2 years. During that time, David oversaw Agricultural Research funded by the US Government in those countries. He also worked in Malaria Control in Indonesia and Vietnam in the 1960's.
David enjoyed fly fishing, raising orchids, and played tennis for years.
David is survived by his wife, Ruth Arlene McHaffey (nee Fries); daughters Anne Louise and Jeanette Marie McHaffey; and sister Catherine McHaffey.
There are no scheduled services. David will be interred at Roselawn Cemetery in Pueblo, Colorado.
