Claudia Deichmann, a resident of Westminster, CO died on September 5, 2023. She was born in New Orleans, LA on January 27, 1945. She was the daughter of Oliver B. Deichmann and Geneveive (Gentilich) Deichmann. She was raised in uptown New Orleans and raised her children in Metairie, where she resided for 27 years before moving to Colorado. She had a thirst for knowledge, and was an avid reader with an ability and willingness to learn things on her own. She was a talented artist, using her skills to draw, paint, and even create stained glass works. She was a loving mother who travelled the world to help her children. She was always generous and willing to lend a hand to her friends and family.
Claudia is survived by her daughter Genevieve Goreham (Ralph) and son Warren Waguespack (Stacey); grandsons Stephen Honeycutt, Thomas Honeycutt, Warren Waguespack, Jr, and Nicholas Waguespack; sister Dale Engels; brothers Gary and Keith Hannan; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother John Deichmann.
She will be interred at Lakelawn Metairie Cemetery on October 7th, 2023 in a private service for the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. The family would like to extend special thanks and gratitude to the staff of Villagio of Broomfield, for the loving care of compassion extended during her stay.
