Charles Ford Green Jr.

Charles Ford Green Jr. was born to Charles and Dorothy Green in Paulsboro, NJ March 4, 1938. He graduated from Paulsboro High School in 1955, and entered the Navy. He was on the USS Newport News until 1959, when he was recruited by IBM. Charlie worked for IBM until 1991 as a branch manager. He married Joan April 6, 1979. Charlie enjoyed skiing, camping and square dancing, he was an avid Rockies fan and loved going to spring training in Arizona each year. If you were able to spend any time with Charlies, he would tell you stories about swimming in the Delaware River, his years in the Navy and what his grandchildren were up to!

Charlie is survived by his wife Joan of 39 years, siblings, Dorothy (Jim) Jones, Janet (Don) Mahley, Robert (Karen) Green, Tom (Shirley) Green, children, Jeff (Kim) Green, Lori (Ron) Kendrick, Doug Green, Donovan (Julie) Quinn, grandchildren, Jordan (Caleb) Fintel, Allex (Sonny) McDaniel, Tyler (Bri) Kendrick, Kait (Sean) Dwyer, Katie (Mike) Ernst, Murphi (Cameron) Cass, Travis (Hayley) Kendrick, Megan Quinn, Emma Green and 6 great grandchildren.

Services will be held on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 10:00 am at Christ on the Mountain, 13922 W. Utah Avenue, Lakewood, CO 80228. Military Honors will be rendered on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 11:30 am at Ft. Logan Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated.
