Carol Mathilde Ross

82, born November 13, 1936 in Blue Island, Illinois, and died November 16, 2018. She is survived by her son Derek with his wife Aimee, daughter Tanya Weindler with her husband Fritz, two grandchildren Adrian Weindler with his fiancée Nadja, Mattias Weindler with his fiancée Jenny, and her great-grandson Ryan. Carol graduated from Saint Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing in Chicago, Illinois, in 1957. In the course of her career she worked as a private nurse, in hospitals as well as assisting physicians in private practices, mainly in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She retired at the age of 60. She was a loving and dedicated mother who was not only a den mother for Derek’s cub scout pack, but also leader of Tanya’s Campfire Girls group. She loved knitting, crocheting and, above all, traveling to all parts of the world. A memorial service will be held at the Heather Gardens Community Center, 2888 S. Heather Gardens Way, Aurora, CO, Dec. 12th at 7 p.m. No flowers, please. However, donations to the American Red Cross would be appreciated.
