Carol Joan Campbell 86 years old, passed away peacefully on November 28th at the Meadows Memory Care facility at Holly Creek Christian Community, in Centennial Colorado surrounded by family. She was blessed with 3 children and their families that loved her. Oldest son, Marc Huisken and wife Connie their 2 children Hayley Oakes, husband Donny, and their 2 sons Braxton and Axel, and son Hunter Huisken. Middle son Brad Huisken, wife Lorraine, (Rainie) and their 3 children. David, his children Kody and Lindsay. Dina Kyelberg, husband Steve and their 2 children Leyton and Emma. Brice Huisken, wife Kate, their 2 children Avery and Bennett. Daughter Laura Hooker and Craig Daniels and her 3 sons. Geoffrey wife Danielle, Cameron and fiance’ Gennavieve Wanner, and Robert Hooker. Additionally, numerous stepchildren, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Carol was born on September 10, 1930 to Helen and Melville Snyder in Chicago, Illinois. Carol and her twin brother Allan (deceased) were the oldest of four children, Merle Bullard with 4 children, and Charles Snyder (deceased) and his wife Linda (deceased) and their 3 sons and families. Carol married George Huisken in 1950 and moved to South Bend, Indiana. Seven years later they moved to Denver, Colorado. Carol loved Colorado and vowed never to leave. After her divorce from George, Carol married U.S. (Bill) Grant. Bill passed away from a heart attack in 1981. She then met Foster Campbell and was married 19 years before he passed away from cancer in November of 2003. Carol had a diverse working life starting as a salesperson at Sears Roebuck, completed Sales and Leadership training of Dale Carnegie, provided training and client relations for Golden West Steak House, sold background music for 3M, was a top producer selling Chocolate House Candies. She then began selling furniture for May D&F, Homestead House and ultimately finding her true passion of sales and Interior Design at Howard Lorton’s Gallery. She was an interior designer for over 30 years and prided herself on her successful career. Carol is remembered by her friends, and colleagues as a talented, successful, beautiful woman. On December 29, 2016 a memorial service will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church at 4500 E. Hampden Ave, Englewood, CO at 6:00pm followed by a Reception at Holly Creek Christian Communities at 5500 East Peakview Ave. Centennial, CO 80121.
