She is survived by her husband, Tim, and their two daughters, Karen Norris, and Betty Jones (Sheldon) all of Colorado Springs along with a brother, Walter “Bud” Beery, of Montrose, CO, and a sister, Joy Neuschwanger (Delbert) of Lakewood, CO. She worked as a bindery worker at printing shops for many years and loved to read. She retired from the workforce in 1999, when she and her husband moved to Buena Vista, CO, to spend time in the mountains that she loved so much. She enjoyed traveling and meeting new friends as part of her husband’s model airplane/engine collecting hobby and she helped publish the Engine Collectors Journal for over 60 years. In December 2020, the couple moved to Colorado Springs to be closer to their two daughters and medical care.
The family would like to thank Pikes Peak Hospice for all the help and care they have given, and their efforts to allow her to spend her final months at home.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Springs Funeral Services at 6575 Oakwood Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO, on Friday, March 10th at 2:00 pm.
