Age 91 died peacefully October 3, 2026 surrounded by family. Preceded in death by husband Robert Alan Walk; parents Christian and Pauline Petersen; and sister Bonnie Amedy. Survived and will be missed by daughter Terry (Bruce) Muller; son Brent Walk; grandchildren Stephanie (Kris) Higley, Christopher Muller, Audrey Soto; and great granddaughter Amelia May Soto.
Educated in Ohio, she married Robert on January 5, 1955 in Clyde, Ohio. She raised her family in Kalamazoo, Michigan and earned an Associate’s degree in marketing from Kalamazoo Valley Community College. She operated a pencil printing business attending many local fairs in Michigan and Colorado with the business becoming a family affair. Upon Robert’s retirement, they moved to Littleton, Colorado; later moved to Sun Lakes, Arizona; and returned to Highlands Ranch, Colorado.
In retirement, she enjoyed volunteering at local elementary schools and playing Mah Jonng and other games. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority. She enjoyed hosting others at her home and always had treats available for anyone who dropped by.
She will be laid to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery along side her husband of 62 years.
