Barbara Jeanne Henry

Barbara Jeanne Henry, age 81, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023, at Sky Ridge Medical Center in Lone Tree, CO after a brief illness. Born in Columbus, Ohio, on December 6, 1941. Barbara was a graduate of Columbus North High School and attended The Ohio State University. She moved to Denver with her husband, Bob, and lived in Denver where they raised their children. She devoted countless hours volunteering with different Denver organizations and loved entertaining and gardening, but she was most proud of her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband Bob Henry, her parents William and Norverda Tilley, her sister Diane Efird, and her brother Ben Tilley. She leaves to celebrate her life her children, Mike Henry (Linda) of Castle Pines, CO, Robin Cameron (Dan) of Lone Tree, CO, Jeff Henry (Jen) of Jacksonville, NC, and Christine Solheim (Chris) of Highlands Ranch, CO; Grandchildren Leigh-Ann, Kelsie, Taylor, Seth, Jenny, Trevor, Kate, Jack and Cara; six great-grandchildren; three sisters, Joanna Brown of Ann Arbor, MI, Billie Halley (Bill) of Columbus, OH and Suzanne Dodge (Harlan) of Land O’Lakes, FL; two brothers-in-law, Dick Henry (Nancy) of Gahanna, OH and Ron Efird of Panama City, FL and her paternal aunt, Carolyn Hill of Columbus, OH; nieces, nephews and many friends.

In lieu of burial, her family is honoring her wishes through The University of Colorado Anatomical Donation Program. A private celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
