August Leonard Davalos, of Arvada, Colorado

August (Auggie), age 69, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2019. Originally from Denver, August attended Annunciation High School. He was a Master Printer by trade for more than 35 years.

August enjoyed life with family and friends while vacationing, golfing, camping and fishing and bowling. He especially enjoyed celebrating holidays and milestones with family and friends, and cherished time spent with the Grandchildren he loved so dearly. August will be forever loved and missed by his wife, Patricia and his large family. He is described as a generous, kind, humble and gentle man who truly enjoyed life and those he shared it with.

August is survived by his wife Patricia "Pat", his daughters: Marlo Fay and Stephanie Marie (Anthony). Sisters: Barbara and Lorraine. Brothers: Bill (Sonia) and David. Grandchildren: Robert, Richard, Ray, Valerie, PJ, Stephanie, Kiana, Dennis Jr, Sammy, Jayla, James and Lenai. Greatgrandchildren, Nova, Adrian, Payson and AJ. There are numerous nieces and nephews.

August was preceded in death by his parents, George and Inez Davalos, his sons AJ and James, sisters Yvonne, Cathy and Tina, brothers George and Richard and granddaughters Joy and Marlo. August lost his loving companion of 15 years, Brownie, who passed away only days before her master.

We will celebrate August’s life on Friday May 31st at 11:00AM at funeral mass at Guardian Angels Catholic Church. The church is at 1843 W. 52nd Avenue. Denver, CO 80221.

Following the church service, a reception will be held at Hangover Bar, (how ironic) 770 Sheridan Blvd. Denver, CO 80214.
