Alta DeBey Gilbertson

Alta, 91, was born in Downs, Kansas. Her family moved to Greeley, Colorado in the late 1930's. Alta graduated from Greeley High School, and became a med tech. Alta moved to Denver, met Gordon Gilbertson and began her family. They lived in Denver and Honolulu. Alta is preceded in death by her husband. Alta moved to Bellingham, Washington and continued her career. After retirement, she traveled the country in her camper enjoying life. She returned to Denver to be close to her family. Alta is survived by children: Cay Gilbertson, Bill Gilbertson (Shirley), and Amy Murphy, 3 grandchildren: Jennifer Gilbertson, Jody Jones (Tim), and Nick Gilbertson (Abby), 3 great grandchildren: Madison Jones, Savannah Jones, and Henry Gilbertson, and her brother: Cecil DeBey. Her family will miss her, and she will live in our hearts forever. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
