Born on July 9th, 1946, in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Victor was the beloved child of Juanita Sanchez & Pelegrin Padilla. He grew up in Ponce, PR and attended Escuela Ernesto Ramos Antonini. Throughout his life, Victor worked as Janitorial in hospitals.
He was known for starting projects but never finishing his own due to helping others finish theirs first, his wife jokes. He was a pleasant person, helped anyone young or old. Sick or healthy, it didn't matter. He was cheerful and easygoing. More than anything, Victor will be remembered for his kindness, his generosity, his sense of humor, his sense of adventure and wild side, his strength and compassion, his faith, his warm laughs and comforting hugs.
He enjoyed building and inventing things, the beach and swimming, playing in the river as a boy, working, and found the greatest joy in spending time with his wife, Carmen, watching his grandchildren grow up, attending church, tending to the garden, his dog Ula, all kinds of gospel music and old school salsa, bachata, and merengue. He loved to cook, help his wife clean, he loved his chickens. He was a great man all around.
Victor is survived by his wife, Carmen Padilla, their children Maria, Mario, Felipe and Cynthia, all their grandchildren and great grandchildren, his siblings Pedro and Miriam, and all his nieces and nephews.
Though Victor is no longer with us in person, his love, wisdom, and memories will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
