Vicki McCollum Slusher

Vicki McCollum Slusher of Wesley Chapel Florida passed away on January 19, 2025 at the age of 70. She was born in Nuremberg, Germany on June 23,1954. Vicki's childhood years were spent in Tobyhanna, Pa and Lexington Ky. She graduated from Bryan Station High School and attended the University of Kentucky.

She was a Senior Executive Assistant to Dr. Tom Sellers at the Moffitt Cancer Center for many years and retired from Moffitt after 31 years in August 2024.

Vicki was actively involved at Grace Family Church Land o Lakes Campus, as well as all of the sports activities that her grandchildren participated in. She was their best supporter and tried not to miss any of their games.

She was preceded in death by her father SgtMajor {RET} George Henderson McCollum, her mother Alberta Watkins Ohlson, and her father in law James R. Slusher, Jr.

Vicki is survived by her husband of 51 years, Bruce Wayne Slusher, Wesley Chapel, Fl., her son Craig Riley (Amy Jean) Slusher, Wesley Chapel Fl., her daughter Courtney Lyn (David Ryan) Wildeboer, Land O Lakes, Fl. Six grandchildren, Hunter Riley, Austin Reed, Brayden Reece, and Levi Ryan Slusher, Hadley Grace and Beckett Matthew Wildeboer. She is also survived by a brother George Steven McCollum of Carlsbad, Ca. and two nephews James and Corwin McCollum, a loving mother in law Eva Pearl Kirby Slusher and a brother in law James Slusher.

She leaves to mourn her passing a special aunt , Greta Watkins and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Vicki also leaves two special ladies and their families who were "sisters" Patricia {Allen) Criswell and Patty (John) Belcher.

The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Advent Hospital Wesley Chapel, Advent Hospital Tampa, and Advent Hospital Orlando, especially Joy, Wayne, Myrannda, Elaina, Frank, Maria, Dr Tandon and Dr Zaad.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration Of Life on January 31, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Family Church, 22920 SR 54, Lutz. Fl. 33549.
