Thomas B. McDermott Sr. of Clermont, FL passed away peacefully on January 8th, 2022 at the age of 72. He was born on August 18th, 1949 in Honea Path, SC where he grew up with his two brothers, Jim and Phil.
Tom worked as a Publix Grocery Store Manager for many years and was actively involved in the Rotary Club’s Youth Exchange Program.
He was preceded in death by his Mother Sybil Virginia Powell and brother Phillip Laverne McDermott.
He is survived by his son Thomas Brian McDermott, Jr.; daughter in-law Vanessa; two granddaughters, Fiona & Willow; brother Jim (Cecelia); sister in-law Beverly; three nephews; and his many exchange kids from around the world.
