Roy Sinclair Palmer Jr.

Roy was predeceased by his parents, Roy S. Palmer Sr. and Barbara L. Palmer of Coventry, CT. also by his sisters: Darlene Morgan of Coventry, CT and Leslie Blazinski of Manchester, CT.

He leaves behind many family and friends who will miss him dearly. His wife, Beverly B. Palmer of Casselberry, FL. His sister, Barbara Crue of Oxford, MI and brother, Keith Palmer (Lynn) of Willington. CT. His 2 daughters: Diana Palmer-Morgan (Scott R. Morgan) of Sanford, FL and Jaclyn Palmer (Mike Curry) of Sorrento, FL. His 2 grandchildren: Arta A. Palmer of Casselberry and Trevor S. Morgan of Sanford. Also, he leaves many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Roy served proudly in the US Marines during the Vietnam War. He returned to civilian life to perform multiple interesting jobs. The most memorable was working with several ice cream companies and fresh frozen pasta. He was well known for his work ethic and would help anyone when he could. Mr. Fix-It was also known as the “Ice Cream Man” and this nickname stayed with him throughout his life. To quote one cousin “He sure will be missed – such a gift of storytelling and an amazing sense of humor.”

The family would like to thank all the caregivers, nurses, PAs, and physicians and help from the VA Home-Based Primary Care team and the VA Respite team. As well as the many people of the Advent Health Hospice Team. They provided guidance and comfort during Roy's last chapter.

Roy’s final resting place will be in the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery. A small ceremony to honor him will be on September 15, 2026 at 11:30 AM. Reception details to be announced.
