Robert Walker Mandell

It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my beloved husband, Bob, who left us on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at the age of 78. We were blessed to share 57 wonderful years of marriage, and he will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Bob served our country with great pride in the Navy for 25 years, retiring as a Commander. He was a dedicated patriot and a proud Vietnam veteran. His life was one of service, laughter, and joy, and his sense of humor never failed to light up any room. He found joy in everything he did and was always the “big kid” in the family, showing us the importance of fun, no matter the circumstances.

He leaves behind me, his loving wife Linda; our daughter Kimberly and son-in-law Todd; our son Steven and daughter-in-law Hikaru; his cherished grandchildren, Oliver and Chad; and his dear older sister, Ann Bolderson. He touched so many lives with his warmth, kindness, and humor.

We will miss him deeply, but we take comfort in knowing that he is now at peace. His memory will live on in the stories we share, the laughter he brought us, and the love that will never fade.
