In 1993, they both moved from Massachusetts to Winter Haven, Florida. In Winter Haven, he went to school again, graduated as an A/C Tech, and opened a successful A/C business. Both Robert and Jean attended the First Presbyterian Church. He is survived by a step daughter, Alexis Rodriguez; a stepson, David Tobin; and lots of grandchildren and great grandchildren, who will truly miss him.
Robert taught his son David how to umpire, which David really loved doing. Bob was also part of the American Legion, had a love for music, dancing, camping, and loved the New England sports teams.
Life was too short, we wished you could have stayed here forever, but the pain and suffering is over, and we can now look up to heaven and see you flying with the angels! Forever in our thoughts and minds. We love you!
