Richard Leroy Diener

Richard LeRoy Diener of Winter Springs, Florida passed away on March 11, 2026 at the age of 97. He was born on August 22, 1928 in Exeter Township where he grew up with ten other siblings in Stoney Creek, Pennsylvania.

He graduated from Louisiana State University in 1956 and worked as Nuclear Engineer at Ebasco Services in New York City.

He was actively involved in his church as well as an avid ornithologist and botanist.

He is preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn Natalie Esterly Diener.

He is survived by his children, Natalie, Richard Jr., Tanya, Tamalie, Dale, LeRoy, Jay and Alicia.

The family would like to thank the caregiver team at Arden Court in Winter Springs, Florida and the Advent Health Hospice team for the care and compassion they showed to Richard in his final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Ceremony at 1441 Hoeger Circle Kissimmee, Florida 34746 on March 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Reception to follow.
