

Pauline H. Doorn of Poinciana, FL, passed away on April 29, 2026 at home. She lived at home in South Bend, IN, where she grew up with parents, Clemence and Florence Zeilewski, and siblings, Christine, Esther and Caz.
She graduated from Washington High School, South Bend, IN, in 1973 with honors. She was also the editor of the student's newsletter for 2 years.
She worked as Owner, Operator of MedType in Niles, MI, a medical transcription company with over 50 employees and 11th Hour Escape with 2 locations, Austin, TX and Corpus Christi, TX.
She was actively involved in women’s church softball, Bertand Newsletter (Editor), and Sunday School parties.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clemence and Florence Zielewski, Christine Lassota (Zielewski), Esther Niespodziany (Zielewski), and Cas Zielewski.
She is survived by her husband, Cap Doorn; son, Jeff Doorn; daughter, Darcy Doorn; and daughter-in-law, Kari Doorn (ufer).
Pauline was a great wife, mother, and friend to many. She truly loved her family, extended family and friends.
The family would like to thank all the wonderful folks for the prayers, care and compassion they showed Pauline in her final days. The many who brought over lunch, supper or dessert. They were greatly appreciated.

Pauline battled Pancreatic Cancer for 6 months. She was supported by her husband, two adult children, family, and friends. She is one of the bravest people I know that faced cancer, and love for all those she met in this life.
