Patricia Ann Keddy Belliveau of Lake Mary, Florida passed away on Saturday, August 8th, 2026 at the age of 81 after a long battle with multiple illnesses which she faced with resilience and determination.
She was born on February 2nd, 1945 in Lawrence, Massachusetts and grew up in Franklin, Massachusetts. After high school, Patricia joined the Army where she served as a nurse during Viet Nam. She met the love of her life, Dennis, while both were serving in the Army at Ft. Dix, NJ. They were married on November 1, 1969. They shared a loving marriage until his passing in 1985.
While she did many jobs over the years, she enjoyed her career working with fellow Veterans. Her last working years were for the Orlando VA, Lake Baldwin, FL Campus. She worked as a Release of Information Agent, a Medical Coder, and then Phone Operator before medically retiring in 2002. Along with working with the VA, she was proud to be a Woman Veteran and was a member of the DAV here in Central Florida.
Throughout her life, Patricia had a passion for great food, laughter, and sharing stories of her life’s adventures- usually starting with the phrase, “To make a long story short…”, which it never did. She enjoyed time with family and friends, traveling, cruising, gardening, crafting, and visits to Disney. Even through the years of her illness, she insisted on doing as much as she could, when her body allowed it. Patricia shared her strength, perseverance, and caring spirit with all who knew her. That ever-sparkle in her eyes brought smiles to all who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dennis C. Belliveau (dec. 8/31/1985).
Patricia is survived by her daughter Robyn (Jeff) Romine, grandson Geran Romine, her sister Cheryl (Gary) Powers, and brother Arthur Keddy.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Alwyn C. Cashe State Veterans Nursing Home for the great care they gave while she was a resident. They would also like to thank Advent Health Hospice for the care and compassion they showed to her in her final days.
Family and friends are invited to attend Patricia’s Celebration of Life on Saturday, September 19th from 12pm to 4pm at Baldwin-Fairchild Funeral Home, 994 E Altamonte Dr, ALtamonte Springs, FL 32701.
Interment will be the following week at Notre Dame Cemetery in Pawtucket, RI where her family will bring her to finally rest beside her beloved husband.
