Nancy Mikilia, aged 63, passed away on October 23th, 2023, suddenly leaving her family, friends, and the nursing community in deep sorrow. Nancy dedicated an incredible 40 years of her life to a noble career as a nurse, touching countless lives with her compassion and care. She was a graduate of St. Joseph's Nursing School, where she honed her skills and her deep-seated desire to help others.
Nancy was not only a dedicated professional but also a loving mother to her three children, Gary, Jennifer, and Ashley. Her children were her pride and joy, and she instilled in them the values of kindness and empathy that she held dear. In her leisure time, Nancy had a fondness for Jimmy Buffet's music, which she'd play while relaxing with her favorite books, always with her beloved dogs by her side. She cherished her quiet moments spent with her furry friends, enjoying the warmth and companionship they provided. Nancy's love for animals extended to her love of Christmas, her absolute favorite holiday. She would spend hours decorating her home and delighting in the magic of the season.
Nancy Mikilia is survived by her three loving children, Gary, Jennifer, and Ashley, who will carry forward her legacy of kindness and compassion as well as her loving brother Alan Pulcifur, her niece Lindsey and nephew Royce. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her, a tribute to a life well-lived, dedicated to the care of others, and filled with warmth, music, and the joy of the holiday season.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to a local food bank or animal shelter, as these were both charities that she passionately believed in and generously contributed to.
