Lloyd Wesley Goss

Lloyd Wesley (Buck) Goss of Lakeland, Florida passed away on December 9th 2022 at the age of 95. He was born on April 19th 1927 in Kawkawlin, Michigan where he grew up one of 10 children. He was the last surviving sibling.

He left school as a young man of 17 to join the Army.

He worked as an electrician.

He was actively involved in Church, and a member of the American Legion and the Local Moose Lodge for several years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ruby Goss, and his nine siblings.

He is survived by his wife Donna D Goss, and his daughters Valerie Tipton (Bob) and Barbara Hulon (Bobby) and son Larry Joseph Goss (Erin) and two stepdaughters Misty Kessler (Kris) and Tina Emnett (Michael) and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren

Buck loved to go around humming and singing, He also loved to do Karaoke, he and Donna use to go around to different nursing home facilities and sing to the residence. He was a huge fan of the Tampa Bay Rays baseball team. He never missed a game on television if he could help it, he also loved to watch Western television shows daily.

The family would like to thank family, friends and his caregivers for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in his final days. We especially want to thank his caregivers from Senior Helpers and the excellent staff at Good Shepard Hospice in Auburndale.

Family and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at Reynolds Road Ministries, 1135 Reynolds Road, Lakeland, Fla 33801 on Saturday January 28th. . Visitation with family and friends will be at 1:00 pm and services will begin at 1:30 with a meal to follow in the Fellowship Hall.

Interment to follow on Monday January 30th at 2:30pm at Florida National Cemetery 6502 SW 102nd Ave. Bushnell, FL 33513.
