Born April 4, 1943 in Jackson Mississippi, Linda was raised in Crystal Springs, Mississippi by her adoptive parents Joe Edwina And Mabel Ernestine Flowers.
She was a true southern Belle.
A classically trained pianist.
A terrific dancer.
A beauty pageant winner.
An outstanding cook.
A bit mischievous.
She served her community as a senior life-saving and advanced swim instructor ~ notably having saved two persons lives.
There wasn’t anything she couldn’t achieve.
She had that spirit of self.
Linda also had a wicked sense of humour and a verve for adventure.
She loved to have fun.
A fearless warrior and protector of animals and the underprivileged,
Linda was brilliant and insightful and used those skills in a variety of ways including what became her truest passion beside her family~ breeding and raising Persian and Exotic felines.
She became an important part of the Cat Fanciers’ Association being internationally recognized for excellence in both showing and breeding these beautiful animals.
Mentoring all who sought out her expertise.
Her achievements and awards are vast.
She settled with her husband and two children in Winter Park, Florida having lived in New York and California early in their marriage.
Linda is survived by her devoted husband Ted and their two children,
daughter’s Donna Leigh Pearson and Diane Pearson Levin.
The family are celebrating her life in private.
They also request donation to any charity for the care of animals as a way to honor her life.
