Kelly’s gift was the power to celebrate life and show friends and family how it is done. A contagious love of life spread through smiles, laughter, and recognition of the amazing moments with joyful celebration, the odd moments with a hilarious outlook, and the funny moments with so much laughter. This gift was also for those lucky to share life with her as one big family.
Born in Hialeah, Florida, then moving to Fort Pierce, Florida, love of the water played a large part in Kelly’s formative years where friendships grew through boating and beachgoing.
Her home was extended to include friends and family for its own sense of community. Passion for people and connections guided her career choices and played a large role in her dedication to fitness. She loved tennis, initiating her sons into the game, and a favorite for her and husband Jim.
She will be missed by her found true partner and love in life Jim Dyer, her sons Jacob Settle, Jordan (Maggie) Friedman, step-son Stephen Dyer, step daughter Tynette Dyer, her sisters, Kathy Sayers, Colleen Bly (Ron Johnston), brothers, Patrick Bly (Nayiver Delgado), Leo (Generosa) Bly, her dear friend Stephanie Bombalier, nieces and nephews, Joey Hauer, Bob Sayers, Shawn Bly, Josh Hauer, Brie Lamb, Patrick Bly, Amanda Bly and Shannon Bly and their spouses and combined 19 children as well as all of the friends who Kelly made her family.
