Joan Karen Seip

Joan Karen Seip died of natural causes on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 in her home. Joan was born on August 2, 1939 in Miami, FL where she lived until 2004 when she moved to Orlando, FL. Her parents were Walter and Sylvia Alleshouse and she has one sister, Janet. Joan later married Norman Seip and they were married for 13 years and had two children, David and Dennis Seip. Joan worked for Publix Supermarkets for 25 years. She started working for Publix in 1989 in Fort Lauderdale, FL and continued to work at Publix in 2005 when she moved to Orlando. Joan served at Discovery Church as a greeter every first Sunday of the month for 10 years. Joan lived with her son David, her daughter-in- law Rhonda and her two grandchildren, Chelsea and Madison since 2004. David built her a house in their backyard, that house was her favorite place to be. She loved to sit on her porch in her rocking chair and be outside with her family. Joan is survived by her two sons, David and Dennis Seip. As well as her daughter in law, Rhonda Seip, her grandchildren Chelsea and Madison Seip, and her sister Janet. Joan knew Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior, and we rejoice in seeing her again. Joan's Celebration of Life memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at 1PM at Discovery Church 4400 S Orange Ave, Orlando, FL 32806.
