Janice taught elementary-middle school in in the public school system. She considered that time period and environment as her mission field. Her all-time favorite age level was Kindergarten Janice’s giftedness for education coupled with her caring personality made her popular among administrators, colleagues, parents and especially her students.
Her seminary training and gifts were called into service beginning in 1996. She officially served the faith communities First Baptist Church Anderson, South Carolina First Baptist Church Dalton,Georgia Evergreen Baptist Church, Milledgeville Georgia
Most Recently :
Farmville Baptist Church, Farmville, Virginia and Baptist General Association of Virginia as Associate Pastor and Campus Minister at Longwood University and Hampden-Sydney College respectively.
She holds dear her membership and relationships of her home church: Vine Street Baptist Church along with First Baptist Church, Elkin, North Carolina Greystone Baptist Church, Raleigh, North Carolina
and her present membership with Living Stones Baptist Church,Wildwood, Florida

Committed to carrying her light and memory are her husband of 40 years, Ronnie Kiehm; son, Daniel Kiehm; mother, Betty Jeffries sisters in-law, Susan Kiehm, brother in-law, David Kiehm; adopted sister in-law, Linda Gold; aunt, Shirley Murray; cousins, Mark and Kim Jeffries, Julie and Jeff LeMaster, Patricia and Stephen Wol nieces and nephews Jennifer and Kevin Fauls, Stephen Kiehm, Christina and William Flatt and Jessica Kiehm.
Janice loved early mornings with a good cup of coffee surrounded by her plantings while music played softly and she did her morning devotionals. Accompanying her through the years for these practices
were her four legged companions of Gigi, Daisy, Sadie, Rosie ,Georgia, Kona and Bella. She fondly remembered her two Tennessee Walking Horses, Redbud and Lady.
