James "Bob" Robert Beniston

James Robert Beniston known as Bob of Silver Lakes in Lakeland, FL passed away on 01/16/2024 at the age of 93. He was born on 11/18/1930 in Connellsville, PA. He graduated from Connellsville High School.

He worked as an Independent Sales Representative for Kar Products then becoming Vice President of the Eastern Hemisphere, Kimbel Mid-West, regional manager.

Bob was actively involved in the church, was a Mason and was very dedicated to the Shriners. He once served as the President of Silver Lakes were he resided for over 30 years.

He was preceded in death by Ruth Beniston (wife), Pamela Fitzsimmons and Cathy Best (children), Mary Katherine, George, Fred, Richard (siblings).

Bob is survived by David Beniston, Kevin Beniston, Christy Beniston, and Kimberly Wachter (children), Amanda, Jessica, Jimmy, Samantha, Aaron, Justin, Clint, Tyler, Loren, Cassidy, Justin, Cecily, Carly (grandchildren), Fred and John (brothers), and many great-grandchildren.

Bob was very involved with politics and was proud to have served in our military (Korean War).

The family would like to thank Vitas Healthcare, Janell and Sabrina, for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in his final days.
