Jack Richard Sutter

Jack Richard Sutter of Casselberry FL passed away on Sunday, January 14th, 2024, at the age of 61. He was born on October 16th, 1962, in McKeesport, PA and then Jack’s family moved to Ohio shortly after. Jack grew up with his four older brothers and his older sister. Jack excelled in all sports and loved to play racket ball as well. He played softball with his brothers, and they had a company team named the Sutter Sweepers. Jack met his high school sweetheart Laura while living in Westerville, OH and after high school, they got married and had their first-born Julie. They then had their second born Jack. They both decided to have a third and Jonathan Justin was born. Two weeks after Jonathan, the whole family moved to Orlando FL.

Jack worked in the family business at Sutter Janitorial and eventually after the family sold the business, he worked for GEM Supply, ECO Lab, and then finally landed his dream job with Nilfisk Advance. Jack worked for Nilfisk for the last 24 years and absolutely loved the people he worked with and for. Through Nilfisk, he made a lot of friends throughout the company and distributors globally.

Jack loved all the teams from PA, from the Pittsburgh Steelers to the Penguins, the Pirates, and the Pitt Panthers. Jack loved to go to the Steeler games with his late son Jonathan. They would watch their team play every Sunday. Jack and Laura loved to rescue animals. They had many dogs from beagles to golden retrievers and everything in between. Jack and Laura loved to ride their motorcycle around the state of FL and took many trips over to Ocala to take in the scenery. Jack loved his pool and swimming with Laura, Julie, and Jonathan every weekend. He loved to grill out and sit by the fire pit making smores.

He is preceded in death by Patricia Sutter (Mother), Charles Sutter (Father), Kevin Sutter (Brother), Jonathan Justin Sutter (Son), Janet Workman (Mother-in-Law), Gary Workman (Father-in-Law), and Tom Sawyer (Brother-in-Law).

Jack is survived by Laura Sutter (Spouse), Julie Sutter (Daughter), Jack Sutter (Son), Debbie Sawyer (Sister), Courtney Sawyer (Niece) along with her spouse Mark Carrillo and their son, Thomas Carrillo Sawyer (aka Teddy). Kathy Rund (Niece), along with her spouse Curt and their child Jimmy. Scott Sawyer (Nephew), along with his spouse Jamie and their children, Blake, Jack, and Ellorie. Greg Sutter (Brother) and his spouse Karen Sutter. Gregory Sutter (Nephew), along with his wife Kady, and their children Blair and Beverly. Sam Sutter (Nephew) and his girlfriend Alex Ponce. Brian Sutter (Brother), and his spouse Valerie Sutter. Brad Sutter (Nephew), along with his spouse Kara and their children Austin and Olivia. Stephanie Sutter (Niece). Chuck Sutter (Brother) and Bob Weber.

The family would like to thank the nurses and team at Advent Health Rollins Hospice for the care and compassion they showed Jack in his final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend the memorial at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church at 2140 W. State Road 434 Longwood, FL 32779 on Saturday, January 20th, 2024, at 1 pm. Visitation with the family will begin at 12:30 pm.
